The first day that I tried the prototype I was astounded at the IMPROVEMENT in my volley's depth, pace, and placement. I was working with a ball machine and when I put the TVT on I was able to crack one clean shot after another.
I had been trying to use strength rather than technique to hit my volleys. Being required to use the proper technique virtually eliminated the need for strength because now proper body mechanics and the racket did all the work. Eliminating the need to "muscle" the ball allowed me to relax and begin to flow forward to meet the ball out front at the proper contact point. With the racket in the proper position, the volley became a simple matter of keeping my eye on the ball and putting the racket in front of it.
What's
that you're saying? Even if you get the racket in the right position you can't
keep your eye on the ball.
Well, guess what? In the instructions for the TVT I give you a secret little
method of tricking your mind and body
that works miracles in that department, too. It was developed by a well known
tennis coach and author and
it' so incredibly simple I still can't believe it works. I've spent hours
in practice using the TVT and this simple trick.
The combination of the two produces amazing results.
